Lettuce storage conditions
Lettuce is a very sensitive product and it spoils quickly, that’s why it is important to package and store and send lettuce by a professional team.
The suitable temperature for storing lettuce is 0 to 2 degrees Celsius. At temperatures below 0, lettuce is frozen. The humidity level should be between 90 and 95 to keep the rice fresh and of high quality.
For the combined loading of lettuce with other export vegetables, note that lettuce should not be placed next to products that produce ethylene, such as export apples.
